Benefits of Working at CTS

BCBS of Alabama Health Insurance

CTS offers a comprehensive medical and prescription health insurance plan through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama. Full-time employees and their eligible dependents may participate on their first day of employment.

United Concordia Dental Insurance

CTS offers its dental insurance plan through United Concordia, one of the country’s leading dental insurance companies. Full-time employees and their eligible dependents may participate on the first day of the month following date of hire. Premiums for your health and dental insurance are deducted from your payroll earnings on a pre-tax basis.

Unum Group

Unum Insurance Company is the provider of your Disability and Life/AD&D insurance benefits. These benefits are provided by CTS at no cost to you. You have the option of using Unum for additional Voluntary Short Term Disability and Term Life Insurance with premiums that are deducted from your payroll earnings.

TelaDoc

TelaDoc is a national network of Board Certified and state licensed primary care physicians. CTS provides this benefit to all full-time employees and their eligible dependents. Have you ever just wanted to call your physician and receive medical counsel or obtain a prescription over the phone? Now you can…employees have direct access via phone 24/7/365.

CTS covers the premium for TelaDoc.

VSP Voluntary Vision Insurance

Full-time employees and their eligible dependents may elect to participate in VSP’s Vision Benefit Plan. Premiums are deducted on a monthly basis via payroll deduction.

CTS Retirement & Profit Sharing Plan

CTS offers a 401(k) retirement and profit sharing plan to eligible employees. You are eligible to contribute to the 401(k) plan after 90 days of employment. You must be employed for one year prior to entering the CTS Profit Sharing Plan. CTS also has a Stock Option Plan that employees are eligible for after two years of employment.

Paid Time Off

Paid Time Off (PTO) is available to all full-time employees. PTO combines vacation, holiday and sick leave policies into a flexible plan whereby employees manage their own time off. New employees may use up to 4 weeks of PTO within their first year of employment plus the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
